At the end of a long summer journey, a young traveller arrived at a quiet coastal station just as the evening light began to fade. Beyond the platform stood a rose-coloured arcade, its arches framing the sea like a series of open postcards. She had spent months moving from city to city, searching for somewhere that felt less like an escape and more like a beginning.

As the sun lowered behind the distant hills, the water caught its reflection and turned it into a path of soft pink light. She stepped beneath the arches and realised that every journey leaves something behind, yet also opens a new view. The repeated curves became symbols of passage, memory and possibility; the steps suggested courage moving forward, while the horizon promised calm after uncertainty.

Designed in the spirit of an Art Deco Travel Poster, Sunset Arcade celebrates elegant geometry, romantic destinations and the optimism of departure. Its streamlined arches, balanced ornament and warm dusk palette recall the golden age of railway posters, when travel was presented as a doorway to another life. For Modaknits, the design represents movement with grace: carrying the past gently, while choosing to walk towards light with quiet hope.
