By accessing or using our website, including browsing, creating an account, uploading artwork, purchasing products, placing custom printing orders, or using any services provided through the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Use of the Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may not use the website in any way that may:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation

Custom Printing Orders
Modaknits offers custom printed apparel products. Customers may upload logos, artwork, images, text, graphics, design files, or other materials for custom printing.
By placing a custom printing order, you understand and agree that:
- Custom printed products are made to order.
- Production may begin after artwork review, proof approval, or internal file preparation.
- Production and shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Shipping time does not include artwork review, proof approval, production, quality control, or handling time.
- Once artwork has been approved or production has started, custom printed orders generally cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded unless the issue was caused by our error.

Customer Uploaded Artwork and Content
By uploading artwork, logos, images, text, graphics, files, or other materials to our website or sending them to us for custom printing, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the rights to the uploaded content, or you have permission to use it.
- Your uploaded content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, trade dress, publicity right, privacy right, or other third-party right.
- Your uploaded content does not violate any law, regulation, or third-party agreement.
- Your uploaded content does not contain prohibited, harmful, misleading, hateful, violent, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate material.
You grant Modaknits and our service providers a limited license to use, reproduce, process, modify, format, store, transmit, and display your uploaded content solely as necessary to review, prepare, print, fulfill, support, and process your custom order.
We do not claim ownership of your uploaded artwork. However, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use any artwork, logo, image, text, or design that you submit.
Shopify expects merchants to respect valid intellectual property rights, and content that infringes others’ legal rights may violate Shopify’s policies. Shopify also restricts certain illegal, violent, adult, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited products and materials in its ecosystem.
Right to Refuse or Cancel Custom Orders
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or request changes to any custom printing order if we believe, in our sole discretion, that the submitted artwork or requested product:
- May infringe intellectual property rights
- Contains unauthorized brand logos, celebrity images, copyrighted characters, or protected designs
- Is illegal, hateful, abusive, threatening, violent, pornographic, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate
- Promotes unlawful activity
- Cannot be produced at acceptable quality due to low file quality or technical limitations
- Violates our policies, Shopify’s policies, or applicable law
If we cancel an order before production due to artwork or content issues, we may issue a refund where appropriate. If production has already begun based on customer-approved or customer-provided content, refund eligibility will be determined under our Refund & Return Policy.
Digital Proofs and Artwork Approval
For some orders, we may provide a digital proof or request additional approval before production. If a digital proof is provided, you are responsible for reviewing all details carefully, including:
- Artwork
- Text
- Spelling
- Logo placement
- Print size
- Garment color
- Print area
- Overall layout
If you approve a digital proof, production may begin based on that approval. We are not responsible for customer-approved errors, including spelling mistakes, wrong logos, incorrect artwork, low-resolution files, incorrect placement requests, or other design issues approved or submitted by the customer.
Digital proofs are visual previews and may not perfectly represent final fabric texture, print color, ink behavior, garment fit, or production result.
Orders and Payments
By placing an order, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers, such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, and other supported payment methods. Modaknits does not store full credit card numbers or full payment account information on our own systems.
We reserve the right to cancel, refuse, hold, or review any order at our discretion, including but not limited to orders involving:
- Suspected fraud
- Unauthorized transactions
- Incorrect pricing or product information
- Payment issues
- High-risk payment activity
- Incomplete customer information
- Artwork or content concerns
- Shipping or customs restrictions
If an order is canceled, refund eligibility will be handled according to our policies and applicable law.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery estimates are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.
Custom printed orders may require additional time for artwork review, proof approval, production, quality control, packing, and fulfillment before shipment.
For online merchandise orders, sellers should have a reasonable basis for advertised shipping times; when shipment cannot be made within the promised time, FTC guidance explains that sellers may need to notify customers about the delay and provide appropriate options.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless duties and taxes are clearly collected at checkout or otherwise stated in writing, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, local carriers, incorrect addresses, force majeure events, weather, strikes, holidays, carrier disruptions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Custom printed products are made to order and may not be eligible for return, refund, exchange, or cancellation except as described in our Refund & Return Policy or as required by applicable law.
In the European Union, consumers generally have withdrawal rights for many online purchases, but official EU consumer guidance recognizes exceptions for goods made to order or clearly personalized, such as customized products.
