Wilder Horizon tells the story of a man who returned to the mountains after losing someone who had once taught him how to feel at home in the wild. For years, he avoided the lake they had visited together, convinced that returning would only reopen the ache. Yet one autumn evening, he finally followed the old trail back through the pines.

At the water’s edge, he saw a bear standing quietly in the shallows beneath the fading sun. It did not move towards him or away. The bear represents strength without aggression: resilience shaped by patience rather than force. The still lake symbolises reflection and emotional clarity, whilst the distant mountains suggest the challenges that continue beyond every ending. The warm horizon represents hope returning slowly after darkness.
